Role Summary:
This Senior Financial Analyst role sits at the intersection of growth and execution, supporting two essential parts of the business: Family Entertainment Centers (FECs), a strategic growth engine and evolving business line moving from inception into scale, and Domestic Facilities Operations, a core function that underpins daily performance, cost discipline, and operational excellence.Responsibilities:
This role partners closely with the FP&A and Operations executive leadership team, collaborating regularly with Operations stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights and data-driven analysis. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Serve as a key finance business partner across both Family Entertainment Centers (FECs) and Facilities Operations, delivering actionable financial insights, performance analysis, and decision support to drive operational efficiency and strategic growth
Support the FEC business, helping establish financial discipline, performance metrics, and scalable reporting as the business transitions from early-stage development into a growth phase
Partner with Facilities Operations, providing financial oversight and analysis related to operating expenses, cost controls, and operational performance across domestic facilities
Own and support core financial processes, including monthly reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range business planning, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across both areas
Operate in a highly visible role, interacting regularly with senior leadership and preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports that highlight key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities
Design, build, and maintain financial models supporting FEC operations and Facilities-related operating expenses (e.g., Repairs & Maintenance, Security), as well as budgeting and forecasting activities
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, data integrity, and financial insight as both business areas scale and evolve
Perform ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational optimization efforts
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, with Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting a plus
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems
Anaplan, Power BI, or other data visualization experience a plus
Theatre operations experience as an Assistant Manager level or above, or related experience is a plus
Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving and research abilities
Detail oriented
Quality work product and accuracy required
Ability to learn quickly, multitask and meet report deadlines
Strong communication and persuasive skills, oral and written
Basic knowledge of financial concepts, procedures and practices
Experience in database maintenance, design or queries a plus
