You will be part of financial reporting team for GSK. You will work closely with local and regional finance teams, shared services and business partners. Responsibilities
- Performance of month-end close activities for assigned entities, including journal preparation/review.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and high-risk account reviews, driving timely resolution.
- Produce monthly financial packs and present results and insights to the Financial Controller and stakeholders.
- Ensure accounting treatments follow IFRS and local statutory requirements and maintain required internal controls.
- Coordinate with shared services, tax, statutory providers and regional finance to support audits and filings.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
Education, Experience and Skills
- ACCA (qualified) or CA (part-qualified/ qualified) is required for this role.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit or controllership.
- Practical knowledge of IFRS, month-end close procedures, journal entry preparation and reconciliations.
- Proficient in Excel and experience with ERP systems; experience with SAP preferred.
- Good English communication skills, spoken and written.
- Ability to work on-site in Pakistan with hybrid working arrangements as agreed with your manager.
- Experience supporting external audits and statutory reporting.
- Experience working in a multinational company or shared service environment.
