Japan Accounting Manager
Summary:
ジャパンアカウンティングマネージャーは、経理業務全般(月次・四半期決算、資金管理、税務申告、財務諸表作成、内/外部監査)を統括し、GAAPおよびIFRS基準に準拠した財務報告の正確性を確保します。チームの管理、業務改善、内部統制の強化に加え、IFRS移行プロジェクトの推進を担います。
このポジションは、プロセス改善を推進の他、内部・外部監査人と連携しながら、主要なB/S動向やSG&Aの分析を提供し、戦略に沿ってプロジェクトやチームのアクションをリードいただきます。
Japan Accounting Manager oversees all accounting operations (monthly/quarterly closing, cash management, tax filings, financial statement preparation, internal/external audits) and ensures the accuracy of financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards. In addition to team management, process improvement, and strengthening internal controls, this role will lead the IFRS transition project.
This position is responsible for driving process improvements, collaborating with internal and external auditors, providing analysis of key balance sheet trends and SG&A, and leading projects and team actions aligned with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities Include:

- 勘定照合のためのプロセスを推進し、財務の質を維持する。
- 内部統制基準で求められる文書管理および内部統制に関するテストを支援する。
- 内部・外部監査人と連携し財務諸表監査を期限内に完了する、またプロセス改善を促進する改善の機会を特定し改善を行う。
- 月次・四半期報告を含む 、IFRSに基づく決算を主導する。
- 主要なB/S動向、運転資本、SG&Aに責任を持ち、ジャパンコントローラーに分析内容を提供する。
- コントローラーと協業してAP、AR、資金管理チームの日常業務を管理・統括する。
- コントローラーと協業して税務申告書のレビュー、申告作業を管理・統括する。
- コントローラーと協業して個別財務諸表(JGAAP)のレビュー、個別財務諸表作成を管理・統括する。
- プロジェクトチームと連携し、成果を反映させるための様々な財務プロジェクトを主導する。
- コントローラーの支援を受けながら、部下（2～３名）をマネジメントする。
- Drive account reconciliation process and maintain quality level of the financials.
- Assist in the maintenance of K-Sox documentation and some of the related testing of internal control over financial reporting.
- Partner with internal/ external auditors to complete financial audit on time and identify improvement opportunities to execute process improvement
- Lead monthly/quarterly closing under IFRS, including monthly/ quarterly reporting
- Accountable for major B/S movement, working capital and SG&A and provide analytics to Japan Controller
- Work closely with the Controller to oversee and manage the daily operations of the AP, AR, and cash management teams.
- Collaborate with the Controller to review tax returns and supervise the filing process.
- Partner with the Controller to review statutory financial statements (JGAAP) and manage the preparation.
- Lead/participate various finance projects to materialize outcome by liaising with project team.
- Manage 2 to 3 employees under Contoller’s support.

Qualifications:
The following are required for the role
必須 (MUST) :
- 会計またはビジネスの学士号
- 会計職で最低12年の経験
- IFRS、US GAAP、JP GAAPの知識
- グローバルチームと共に働くための優れた英語コミュニケーション能力
- 優れたコンピュータ運用スキル
- SAPまたは主要ERPの経験
- 優れた分析力、問題解決能力、リーダーシップ能力
- 柔軟性・レジリエンス
- 当事者意識を持っていること
- 信頼とチームワークがあること/円滑なコミュニケーションが行えること
- Bachelor degree in accounting or business
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in accounting role
- IFRS, US GAAP, JP GAAP knowledge is mandatory
- Good English communication skills to work with global team
- Strong computer operation skills, SAP or other major ERP experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and leadership
