 Cloudera’s Finance Transformation Team is seeking a Senior Finance Transformation Analyst to support the optimization and automation of finance and accounting processes. This role will involve deep collaboration with cross-functional teams across Finance, Accounting, and Business Applications to evaluate existing workflows, gather business requirements, and implement effective, scalable solutions. The Analyst will focus on enhancing operational efficiency for various areas including R2R, Treasury, AR, and P2P. The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to process optimization, supporting key initiatives and ensuring alignment with the larger Finance Transformation goals. The role brings a unique opportunity to build a career at the intersection of finance and technology, the position reports to the Director of Finance Transformation. 

As a finance transformation analyst you will: 

  • Collaborate closely with process owners, subject matter experts, and Business Applications teams to drive continuous improvement, optimize processes, and support the automation of finance and accounting operations

  • Gather business requirements and use cases from business stakeholders

  • Support and contribute towards process improvement initiatives, ensuring smooth and timely implementation, while tracking the progress of improvements

  • Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) for new solutions and process improvements, ensuring alignment with business needs and functional requirements

  • Participate in projects as a project manager as needed

  • Contribute to identifying, evaluating, and ensuring the optimality of solutions for process improvements

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the finance and accounting team

  • Analyze and reconcile data, and assist in creating training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth transition and successful adoption of changes

We're excited about you if you have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience 

  • Knowledge of project management tools and software essential, project management certification desirable 

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail while maintaining a strategic, big-picture focus

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and results are achieved 

  • Strong organizational skills, self-starter, and the ability to work independently while adapting to evolving business needs, priorities, and requirements

  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, with a solution-oriented approach and a passion for driving operational efficiencies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with attention to detail 

  •  Strong team player, with proven ability to collaborate well with diverse teams while advocating for best practices and automation

  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
