We’re looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Global Trading and Market Data (GTMD) business, based in Sydney or Melbourne.

This is a high-impact role partnering closely with senior operational leaders to shape strategy, drive financial performance and deliver commercial insight across our global GTMD business. You’ll operate as a trusted advisor, helping the business achieve its financial targets while influencing strategic decision making at the highest levels.

Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in

  • Partnering with GTMD operational leadership to formulate and implement business strategy and financial targets

  • Delivering monthly financial insight and analysis to support performance tracking and decision making

  • Driving the annual budget process, quarterly forecasts and long-term (5-year) financial projections

  • Providing commercial support across the global GTMD business, with a strong focus on APAC

  • Overseeing revenue opportunity pipelines and delivering meaningful insight to optimise growth

  • Supporting the preparation of half year and annual market materials in collaboration with Group and Investor Relations

  • Leading reporting enhancements and automation initiatives to improve visibility, efficiency and commercial insight

  • Developing business cases and delivering commercial decision support across renewals, tenders, project analysis and cost optimisation

  • Tracking and providing insight into key operational and strategic projects

  • Coaching and developing a Finance Analyst, strengthening capability within the team

  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders including the Group Executive – GTMD, CFO, Group FP&A and Corporate Partner functions

What you will bring

  • Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders to drive strategy, performance and financial outcomes

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically and translate data into actionable insight

  • Confidence to challenge thinking constructively and influence senior stakeholders

  • A high level of ownership and accountability, with uncompromising standards

  • Experience delivering budgets, forecasts and long-range financial planning

  • Strong analytical capability combined with clear verbal and written communication skills

  • A track record of improving processes, driving efficiency and increasing automation

  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members

  • The ability to operate autonomously while building trusted relationships across a complex organisation
