We’re looking for a Senior Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping financial insight, governance and long‑term value across our business. This is a senior, influential role where you’ll partner closely with executive leaders, translating complex financial and transformation activity into clear, actionable insights that drive confident decision‑making.
As a Senior Finance Manager, you’ll be a trusted advisor to the Head of Finance, GM, CFO and senior leaders across the portfolio. You’ll lead financial planning and performance analysis, support major investment and transformation initiatives, and strengthen financial governance — all while helping the business deliver sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities include:
Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leaders, influencing decisions through high‑quality insight and analysis
Lead planning, budgeting and forecasting for assigned portfolios, aligned to organisational strategy
Deliver clear analysis on financial performance, trends, risks and opportunities
Support commercial and investment decisions through scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and business cases
Provide insight into programme performance, benefits realisation and cost trajectories
Ensure strong financial governance, regulatory compliance and internal controls
Present clear, concise financial reporting to the Executive team and senior stakeholders
Champion continuous improvement across finance processes, systems and reporting
Lead, mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a high‑performance culture
Collaborate with teams across Strategy, Technology, Operations, Product, Pricing and Treasury
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?
Fully qualified accountant (CAANZ, CFA or equivalent)
Minimum 7 years’ post‑qualification experience in senior finance or business partnering roles
Advanced expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers
Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with confidence
Experience in scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and investment evaluation
Strong data analytics and reporting capability, including dashboards and insights
Knowledge of financial governance, controls and regulatory requirements
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP or Oracle), advanced Excel, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
A collaborative leadership style with a track record of developing high‑performing teams
