Ferring+You
The Senior Finance Manager SEE plays a key role in ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and business partnering across the SEE region, with a particular focus on the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The role combines technical accounting expertise, financial control, planning and analysis, and close collaboration with commercial and cross-functional stakeholders.
The position requires a hands-on finance leader who ensures strict adherence to IFRS, internal controls, and local tax regulations while providing high-quality financial insights to support decision-making and business performance.
Your day at Ferring
Financial Governance & Compliance
Ensure strict implementation and adherence to IFRS standards and Internal control guidelines across relevant markets.
Ensure compliance with local tax, fiscal, and finance-related regulations in the respective countries.
Identify potential financial, tax, or compliance risks in a timely manner and propose appropriate corrective actions.
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audits as required.
Financial Reporting & Controlling
Lead and oversee monthly financial reporting and control activities, including:
Sales reporting
Intercompany transactions
P&L and Balance Sheet analysis
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of financial reports.
Business Partnering & Analysis
Act as a proactive Finance Business Partner, supporting commercial and operational teams with financial insights and analysis.
Conduct cost analysis and ad-hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
Provide financial input to key projects and strategic initiatives across SEE.
Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting (SEE Country coordination)
Support and coordinate short-term and long-term forecasting and budgeting processes, including:
Preparation of financial templates
Data entry and validation
Collaboration with local and regional stakeholders
Systems, Tools & Processes
Ensure proper use and operation of NAVISION in line with assigned roles and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain and update the Pricing Database for Czech Republic & Slovakia.
Oversee and manage the Concur expense system and related processes.
Support finance administration and validation activities as required.
Delegation of Authority
Authorized to approve agreements and payments within delegated authority limits.
Backup Responsibilities
Acts as backup for:
IT support-related finance matters
Tax-related processes
Month-end closing process

Technical & Professional Skills
Strong knowledge of IFRS and internal controls
Solid understanding of local tax and financial regulations (CZ/SK preferred)
Experience with ERP systems (NAVISION is a plus)
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Business & Analytical Skills
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into business insights
Problem-solving and risk assessment capabilities
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
People management experience (leading small teams preferred)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in a multicultural environment
Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented mindset
Preferred Background
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
Minimum 10 years of relevant finance experience (preferably in multinational or pharmaceutical environment)
Experience in regional finance roles is an advantage
Fluent in English (additional SEE languages are a plus)
