The opportunity
Join a dynamic HR and Finance environment where data-driven insights support strategic workforce planning and cost management across the Pacific region.
As our HR Controller, you will manage staff cost planning and reporting by forecasting payroll and benefits, analysing workforce data, and supporting monthly and quarterly financial processes.
Reporting to the Regional HR Leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate staff cost forecasting and delivering insights that support effective business decisions and cost control.
This role is ideal for someone with strong financial analysis skills, experience with HR data, and the ability to collaborate across HR and Finance teams.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Lead payroll and benefits forecasting and support annual budgeting and quarterly rolling staff cost forecasts
Analyse staff cost variances between forecasts and actuals and provide insights on workforce and cost movements
Produce key HR reports and KPIs including headcount, FTE, turnover, and workforce analytics
Support month-end reporting by reviewing payroll data integrity and preparing required reporting inputs for finance packs.
Ensure accuracy of HR data within Workday and collaborate with HR and Finance stakeholders across the Pacific region
What you will bring to the role
Proven experience in financial analysis, HR controlling, or business analyst roles
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Advanced Excel and strong data analysis and reporting skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work accurately and systematically
Experience with HR and Finance systems (e.g., Workday and Adaptive) and reporting tools such as Power BI (preferred)
