Senior Facilities Engineer

Location: Alhambra, California (Onsite)

Job Summary:   

The wafer fabrication Equipment maintenance engineer responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing semiconductor manufacturing equipment used in wafer fabrication processes. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime, reliability, and performance while supporting production goals, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives within a cleanroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on semiconductor fabrication equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems issues to minimize downtime
• Support installation, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment and process tools
• Collaborate with process engineers, technicians, and production teams to improve yield and equipment efficiency
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Support EH&S activities
• Monitor and maintaining high purity systems (gas, chemical, water)
• Monitor cleanroom conditions (temperature, humidity, particle counts, pressure differentials)
• Respond to facility alarms and support 24/7 manufacturing operations when required

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4-year degree in related field required; Bachelor’s, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
• 7+ years’ experience required in the semiconductor field
• Experience with industrial maintenance, utilities, or semiconductor facilities

Desired Qualifications

• Direct support of maintaining semiconductor-processing equipment
• Experience working in ISO 6 Cleanroom environment.
• Experienced on PECVD, RIE, Track systems, Steppers,
• Ebeam and sputter vacuum systems a plus

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $100,000 - $145,000 per hour.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
