Summary:
In this role, you will lead the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) strategy for cybersecurity, ensuring every employee interaction with security policies, tools, Disaster Recovery (DR) communications, and access processes is clear, engaging, and empowering. You will translate complex technical and risk requirements into accessible, action-oriented experiences that drive adoption, behavior change, and digital trust across the enterprise. You will own the Cybersecurity Intranet page, lead enterprise-wide awareness campaigns, and shape security communication strategies that build a culture of resilience and confidence for employees and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a security-aligned DEX roadmap integrating policy rollouts, DR communications, intranet enhancements, and behavior change initiatives.
- Align security experience milestones with enterprise cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation strategies.
- Map and optimize end-to-end employee journeys across security policies, tools, incident preparedness, and intranet engagement.
- Lead our change management efforts for security-related initiatives, including policy updates, new secure ways of working, and tool onboarding.
- Own and manage the Cybersecurity Intranet page, ensuring content is accessible, current, and aligned with enterprise branding and risk priorities.
- Design and execute enterprise-wide security awareness campaigns, including Cybersecurity Awareness Month, World Password Day, and targeted risk-based initiatives.
- Develop and deploy communication strategies and templates for policy updates, access reviews, phishing alerts, and DR activation.
- Establish and lead the DR communication framework for employees and clients, including pre-incident education, live response messaging, and post-recovery follow-up.
- Leverage usage analytics, sentiment data, and training metrics to measure adoption and continuously optimize security touchpoints.
- Partner with Service Desk, Knowledge Management, IT, HR, Legal, Communications, and Learning teams to ensure consistent, user-centered security enablement.
- Support governance and compliance alignment through content audits, policy acknowledgment tracking, and risk-informed communication planning.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Demonstrated experience leading employee experience (DEX), internal communications, or change management initiatives required.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and actionable communication required.
- Experience developing, managing, and governing intranet or digital content platforms required.
- Experience designing awareness campaigns and measuring engagement or behavior change outcomes preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills required.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or SOC 2 required.
- 3 or more years of experience supporting cybersecurity, enterprise risk, or compliance initiatives preferred.
- Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
