Job Description Summary

This architect plays a crucial role in shaping the technology landscape, driving innovation, modernization, and reducing technical debt. What You'll Do:

Develop the Capability Model Experience which provides tools and acceleration for each architect persona.

Network and align with architecture groups and leaders on standards and governance.

Define and deliver on our Enterprise Architecture Management System (EAMS) roadmap to meet Objectives and Key Results.

Listen to our partners and customers to understand, prioritize and enable them to achieve enterprise goals.

Unlock our ability to connect business objectives to technology strategy and assets.

Drive data quality and completeness by integrating key assets with our EAMS platform.

Design and develop reports and dashboards in LeanIX, PowerBI and PowerApps.

Collaborate with architects and senior leaders to define and communicate the enterprise architecture vision, prioritize features and deliver all the goodness that comes with a world-class EAMS implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Ownership of Technical Capability Model: Manage the Technical Capability Model, ensuring high-quality data provides clear guidance to standards.

Feature Development: Add necessary features to the Technical Capability Model to improve functionality and user experience.

User Experience Optimization: Fine-tune the Technical Capability Model experience for various personas, ensuring it meets the needs of different user groups.

Rationalization Opportunities: Leverage the Technical Capability Model to identify and drive rationalization opportunities within the organization's technology landscape.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems.

10 or more years of design, development, and testing of software applications.

A passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to navigate complex conversations and offer alternative solutions when necessary.

Focus on soft skills, which are essential for success in this role.

Capability to analyze what is needed to deliver as a company, reduce costs, and expedite processes.

Experience with one or more Enterprise Architecture Management Systems and Reporting Platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Enterprise Architecture

Seasoned IT professional having held various architecture roles within healthcare or finance industries.

Experience building and integrating LeanIX, PowerBI and PowerApps.

Remote/WAH requirements:

  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$117,600 - $161,700 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
