Senior Engineer, Facilities and Utilities

The Role: 

The core purpose of a Capital Engineer is to account for the end-to-end execution of assigned projects for the manufacturing plant. Work with stakeholders to execute plans safely, and track progress of projects through design phases from inception to handover. 

Typical value of projects varies from USD 50K to 2M. 

Project: Manufacturing Space Expansion, Install New Blending Tank and Build Warehouse with Underground Water Tank 

In this role you will: 

• Plan facility changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations.  

• Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.  

• Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.  

• Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.  

• Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.  

• Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering. 

• Experience in project management with more than 2 years 

• Moderate English skill is required to communicate with stakeholders through mail 

• General knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Aided Design (CAD) software
