Your Role

  • Technically flawless execution of complex commissioning work and development of solutions for the most challenging technical problems
  • Analysis of multifaceted and potentially novel malfunctions
  • Remedial measures for complex problems, including hardware and software interfaces
  • Determining the dates for commissioning and service work with project management, sales, and the customer, and monitoring adherence to these dates Preparation, adaptation, and creation of all technical documentation
  • Planning and conducting training sessions and providing technical support in English or Japanese, both remotely and on-site

Your Profile

  • You have completed technical training, including relevant professional experience or a university degree in mechatronics/mechanical engineering would be desirable.

  • You have several years of relevant professional experience.

  • Service experience with automated systems, electron beam systems, or ion beam systems is advantageous is a plus.

  • Furthermore you enjoy working in multinational teams and have experience in customer management and escalating issues.

  • You have excellent written and spoken Japanese and English skills and are willing to travel internationally for up to 50% of your time.

  • After an initial training period, you are willing to relocate to Japan for 2-3 years.

  • You possess strong communication, teamwork, and assertiveness skills, as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality.
