Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading the delivery of software solutions that address specific requirements and contribute to improved user experiences. The role defines and executes the technical direction for software applications, evaluating and implementing technologies, tools, and best practices to optimize development processes. The role works closely with product managers, designers, quality assurance teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the multi-year technical roadmap for Edge AI, with a strong focus on orchestrating LLMs, vLMs, and agent-based systems across constrained environments
  • Architect seamless edge-to-cloud handoff frameworks optimized for cost, latency, privacy, and performance
  • Drive cross-functional influence, bringing together experts across software, firmware, hardware, and business teams
  • Design scalable on-device lifecycle management frameworks, including deployment, observability, and manageability
  • Enable multi-modal AI experiences, integrating vision, audio, and text inputs
  • Build abstraction layers to support AI deployment across diverse silicon platforms
  • Define and drive the strategy and multi-year technology roadmap for software applications across multiple platforms and products, aligned with global business priorities
  • Lead and scale large application engineering teams responsible for implementation, support, and solution development
  • Partner with architects, product leaders, and operations to assess technologies, develop business cases, and shape the application portfolio
  • Communicate technology strategy and roadmaps to executive leadership, industry partners, and customers
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor, influencing enterprise-level decision-making through deep technical and business expertise
  • Provide architectural guidance, consultation, and design review input across applications and platforms
  • Ensure effective enablement and training for engineering, services, support, and sales teams
  • Mentor and develop emerging technical leaders, fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 12+ years of work experience, preferably in applications engineering, programming, or a related field.

The pay range for this role is $174,050 to $278,450 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
