Your key responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Ownership: Lead the technical design, development, testing, and deployment of robust, scalable, and reliable Java-based applications and services.

• Complex Problem Solving: Architect and implement solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring high performance and maintainability.

• Technical Leadership: Drive technical excellence within your project team, making critical decisions on architecture and implementation while ensuring adherence to best practices.

• Mentorship & Guidance: Mentor and guide junior developers through constructive code reviews, pair programming sessions, and technical guidance, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery from conception to production.

• Operational Excellence: Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures to improve system stability.

Your skills and experience

• Experience: 8-12 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on backend systems using Java.

• Java Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Java (Java 11/17+ preferred) and a deep understanding of the JVM.

• Frameworks: Extensive hands-on experience with the Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot, for building microservices and RESTful APIs.

• Architecture: Proven experience designing and building distributed systems and microservices-based architectures.

• Databases: Strong proficiency with both relational Oracle database.

• Software Craftsmanship: A firm believer in writing clean, testable, and maintainable code, with strong experience in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing.

• DevOps & Cloud: Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), containerization with Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is essential.

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical
