General Description:

The Senior Director, SAP Global Order to Cash (OTC) is the global lead responsible for the architecture, template strategy, and roadmap of SAP-based solutions that power our commercial operations. This role sets the global OTC template vision—balancing standardized processes with pragmatic regional flexibility—to ensure solutions meet organizational objectives and local market needs. The leader brings deep hands-on SAP expertise across OTC and adjacent capabilities, designs an interconnected architecture spanning SAP and tangential products, and drives end-to-end delivery with integrated teams in Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, and supporting functions.

This is a highly collaborative role that partners with business and technology stakeholders to define global templates, govern changes, and guide execution through multi-region deployments, with particular emphasis on life sciences regulatory expectations (validation/assurance), audit readiness, and data privacy.

Additionally, this leader should be a forward thinker with demonstrated experience in leveraging the latest technologies and strategies for enabling AI, Analytics & creating a strong user experience for our stakeholders both internal and external to the organization.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Global OTC Architecture & Template Governance: Define the global OTC solution architecture (S/4HANA-centric), establish template standards (core, regional extensions), and run governance to maintain integrity, scalability, and alignment with commercial strategy.
  • SAP Design Leadership: Provide hands-on, expert guidance on ERP/SAP OTC configuration and integration patterns; review and approve design decisions across pricing, order management, delivery/shipping, invoicing, credit/collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Interconnected Architecture Enablement: Architect and oversee integrations across SAP and tangential platforms to enable a seamless end-to-end quote-to-cash flow, including pricing/chargebacks/rebates, tender management, e-commerce, EDI/3PL/WMS, and tax/compliance touchpoints as relevant
  • Global Rollouts in Life Sciences: Lead multi-country deployments of OTC templates in life sciences settings—owning fit/gap, localization, validation documentation (CSV/CSA), controls/SOX alignment, and change management for end user adoption.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Engage Finance (Revenue Accounting, Credit/FSCM), Supply Chain/Logistics, Commercial Operations, IT Security, Data & Integration teams to align processes, master data, and analytics; steward decisions through PMO, Steering Committees, and enterprise governance.
  • Roadmap & Continuous Improvement: Own the OTC roadmap (upgrades, accelerators, regional rollouts, capability uplift); drive simplification, automation, and data quality improvements; monitor KPIs (cycle time, accuracy, exceptions) and champion best practices.
  • Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead a global, matrixed team of solution architects and analysts; manage consulting partners and product vendors; develop talent and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.

  Qualifications:

  • 12+ years leading SAP OTC solution architecture and delivery, including large-scale, multi-country rollouts.
  • Demonstrated experience of leadership roles guiding cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Deep, hands-on SAP configuration across SD/Billing/Pricing, FI‑AR, FSCM, RAR, shipping/logistics.
  • Proven integration leadership with Vistex/Model N, tender management, e‑commerce, and EDI/3PL/WMS ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated success implementing SAP OTC in life sciences organizations, including validation/assurance (CSV/CSA), controls/SOX, quality/audit readiness, and data privacy (GDPR; China cross‑border considerations).
  • Template governance, roadmap ownership, design authority, and portfolio execution in matrixed environments; adept at balancing standardization with local needs.
  • Executive presence, stakeholder engagement, clear written/verbal communication; ability to influence and align global/regional teams.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Salary Range: $207,000.00 - $277,000.00 annually

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
