Allconnect, a Red Ventures brand, is seeking a visionary, results-oriented Senior Director of Engineering to lead our transition to an AI-first software development lifecycle. This leader will play a critical role in reshaping how we build, ship, and operate software by embedding AI into our platforms, processes, and culture.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including 4+ years leading managers of managers, with a proven track record of transforming engineering organizations to operate in an AI-first model. You have embedded AI into the core of the SDLC, product development, and operational workflows, turning emerging technologies into sustained competitive advantage
  • Experience leading organizations of 40+. You know how to scale leaders, not just teams, and have successfully driven large, cross-functional platform or replatforming initiatives in modern web and cloud environments.
  • A technical leader who can operate at altitude and at depth. You have led large-scale platform or replatforming initiatives, understand modern web and cloud architectures, and can guide teams toward scalable, high-leverage technical decisions without becoming the bottleneck.
  • A strategic partner to product, data, and the business. You challenge assumptions, shape roadmaps, and make disciplined build versus buy decisions that balance speed, differentiation, and long-term platform advantage.

What You’ll Do:

Lead Our AI-First Engineering Transformation

  • Architect and lead our transition to an AI-first SDLC, embedding AI deeply into development workflows, product management, and technical project management to fundamentally elevate how we build.
  • Set the vision for AI across the organization, translating emerging technologies and platforms into practical, scalable advantage.
  • Institutionalize AI enablement across architecture, tooling, QA, and delivery practices so that AI becomes part of our operating system, not an experiment.

Deliver Major Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead two high-impact engineering teams through critical initiatives, including the migration of our telephony provider and a foundational AI-enabled sales platform that will shape the future of our business.
  • Operate as a strategic peer to Product leadership, shaping roadmaps, generating new ideas, and co-owning outcomes so engineering helps define direction rather than simply executing tickets.
  • Make disciplined, high-leverage build-versus-buy decisions that balance speed, cost, differentiation, and long-term platform strategy.

Build and Scale High-Performance Teams

  • Lead and develop Directors, Engineering Managers, and Principal Engineers, building a leadership bench that scales with the business.
  • Raise the technical and operational bar while ensuring teams can execute independently at a high level.
  • Build an organization that fully embraces AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices.
  • Foster a culture that optimizes for experimentation, rapid iteration, ownership, and continuous learning.

Provide Technical Leadership

  • Establish and reinforce architectural standards across Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, enabling teams to build scalable, secure, and durable systems with confidence.
  • Stay at the forefront of AI and modern application development, bringing forward pragmatic innovation that drives measurable impact.

Compensation:

This range reflects total cash compensation, which may include base salary only or base salary plus target bonus, depending on the role. Where eligible, equity may also be offered separately and not included below. Actual compensation varies based on location, experience, and qualifications.

  • Total Cash Compensation Range: $200,000 – $282,500 per year

Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements.
