How will you make an impact?
As a Senior Director of Sales at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will support revenue growth and market leadership across our innovative portfolio of scientific products and solutions. You'll guide a high-performing commercial team while developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets. Working in a collaborative matrix environment, you'll partner across divisions to deliver exceptional value to our customers in healthcare, research, and industry. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer through our industry-leading technologies and solutions.

How will you get here?

Education
Bachelor degree preferred in business, science, engineering or related field
Relevant industry certifications a plus

Experience

  • 10 years of relevant experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or related technical industries

  • Strong record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and supporting profitable growth

  • Experience leading and developing large sales teams in a matrix environment

  • Strong business acumen with P&L management experience and ability to develop/execute commercial strategies

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain C-level customer relationships

  • Excellence in sales operations including forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization

  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Strategic thinking with ability to analyze market trends and competitive dynamics

  • Experience working with multiple sales channels including direct, distribution, and e-commerce

  • Effective talent management skills - recruiting, developing and retaining team members

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and divisions globally

  • Proficiency with sales tools, CRM systems and business analytics

  • Travel up to 50% required

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $205,400.00–$308,075.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
