Reporting to: Sales Director – Terex Washing Systems

Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Regional Sales Manager to contribute to the Terex Washing Systems Sales team.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in the Terex Washing Systems (TWS) Sales team, responsible for both direct sales and the management and growth of the TWS dealer network. Your focus will be on expanding sales and support in new and existing territories.

The successful candidate must be fluent in English. Proficiency in additional languages will be considered a distinct advantage.


What you’ll do

Direct Sales:

  • Identify, target, and secure new direct customers within territory.

  • Manage the full sales cycle for direct accounts, from lead generation and qualification through to closing and aftersales support.

  • Develop tailored proposals, quotations, and presentations for direct customers.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key direct accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Conduct regular site visits and product demonstrations for prospective and existing direct customers.

  • Gather and analyse market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity in the direct sales channel.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, applications, aftersales) to deliver customized solutions and resolve customer issues promptly.

Dealer Sales:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the TWS dealer network.

  • Set clear sales targets for dealers and support them to achieve these through training, customer liaison, and ongoing support.

  • Provide regular, detailed sales training for new and existing dealer sales teams.

  • Support dealers in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

  • Monitor dealer performance and provide feedback, coaching, and resources as needed.

General Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly and annual sales forecasts and reports for both direct and dealer channels.

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies; provide regular progress updates.

  • Assess market requirements in collaboration with dealers and communicate feedback to the product development team.

  • Support the marketing team in promoting the TWS brand.

  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through effective collaboration with engineering and aftersales teams.

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.


What you’ll bring

  • Degree educated or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Engineering / Technical sales including both direct and dealer sales

  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with customers and / or dealers

  • Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the region would be a distinct advantage

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Excellent Presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Computer literate and experienced in the Microsoft office suite

  • Must hold a clean valid driving licence and valid passport

  • Willingness to travel internationally as required

  • Ability to work flexible hours as required

  • Enthusiastic and able to work on own initiative

  • Able to work under pressure

  • Excellent attention to detail
