The Job
- Be the leader of the team which manages and operates the online Direct-to-Customer insurance sales channel for FWD HK
- Responsible for the DTC channel’s operation, including end-to-end customer journey design, implementing the required technological and operational solutions, and managing daily operation with a goal to achieve required business and financial KPIs (including NoP, APE, and VNB)
- Customer journey including Online only and Online-Merged-Offline (OMO) sales conversion
- Online operations include building digital content (text, image and video, etc), online and social media account management, online traffic generation, leads qualification and generation, and optimized sales conversion
- Applying relevant technologies to daily operations including data analytics, generative AI, RPA, voice and messaging tech, etc
- Managing the team and communication with management and relevant departments
The Person
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with 10+ years of experience in online digital sales and marketing, at a leading life insurer, and/or Internet/digitally oriented insurance broker
- Proven track record of success at setting up and operating such Online DTC life insurance sales and marketing operation; “success” defined as “achieving attractive ROI through commssion revenue and/or APE/VNB with market leadership”
- Solid knowledge of internet (search engine) advertising, including SEO and SEM
- Solid knowledge of internet social media account matrix management for sales and marketing purpose
- Online sales and marketing related data analytics, digital tools, and generative AI applications
- Deep understanding of insurance customer journey, especially through the Online-to-Offline integrated format
- Strategic and commercial thinking
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Leadership in building an effective, cohesive and agile team
- Ability to adapt to new situations, resolving issues, rolling out new iterations/upgrades quickly, in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment
- Able to work flexible / long hours (including weekends and holidays) if required to get the job done
