Senior Director, Integrated Insights – Europe

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Senior Director, Integrated Insights – Europe. This is a critical leadership role that will lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic insights, forecasting, and analytics to enable high-quality, timely decision-making across the BeOne Europe region. As a consultative strategic partner to the business, you will collaborate closely with Europe region commercial stakeholders to optimize brand performance and drive business growth from strategy through execution through synthesis across market research, analytics & data science, forecast shaping, field enablement, competitive intelligence, and oncology experience. This leader will lead the development and execution of strategic insights & analytics support, translate business priorities into an integrated insights & analytics plan, and ensure consistent, high-impact insight generation across markets, brands, and channels. The role partners closely with European Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Sales, and country leadership, as well as global insights and analytics COEs, to shape strategy, optimize performance, and drive patient-centered growth. In addition, this leader will oversee coordination and delivery across a Europe Insights & Analytics pod, while also collaborating closely with market I&A leads to deliver scalable, best practice approaches to support deep insight generation. This role reports to the VP of Global Commercial Insights and Business Analytics and is a fully remote role based out of Europe, with occasional travel for team meetings and events expected.

The key responsibilities include:

Integrated Insights Leadership (Europe):

  • Set the Europe I&A regional vision, operating model, and multi-year roadmap for Integrated Insights (market research, forecasting, and analytics), aligned to global strategy and Europe region business priorities.

  • Lead across a matrixed high-performing Europe I&A pod of experts spanning market research, forecasting, advanced analytics, strategic field enablement, and performance insights, setting priorities and mobilizing talent to deliver (with dotted-line reporting into Sr. Director, Integrated Insights - Europe)

  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on market dynamics, brand performance and business opportunities to inform decision-making.

  • Establish governance, standards, and ways of working (research standards, forecast assumptions/controls, insight storytelling, and stakeholder forums) to drive consistency, transparency, and impact across European markets.

Holistic Insights Delivery (Market Research, Forecasting & Analytics):

  • Own the integrated Europe insights plan across brands and markets, connecting primary market research, secondary data, forecasting, and analytics into a single, prioritized agenda.

  • Partner with Forecasting leads to drive demand forecast delivery and narrative shaping for Europe (baseline, events, scenarios) with clear assumptions, risks/opportunities, and storytelling.

  • Partner with Market Research leads to shape design and execution of Europe market research (qual/quant, ad hoc and tracking), ensuring research quality, compliance, and actionable recommendations that inform strategy, segmentation, positioning, and omnichannel activation.

  • Utilize market research and data analytics to identify key market trends, customer needs, and opportunities to support maximization of inline products and launch optimization.

  • Proactively identify and address potential risks and challenges, proposing solutions to mitigate their impact on brand performance and business growth.

  • Deliver analytics and performance insights (dashboards, KPI frameworks, marketing/field effectiveness, market access insights, and customer analytics) to identify growth opportunities, diagnose performance, and drive measurable actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to European Brand Teams, country leadership, Finance, Medical, Market Access, Sales, and Sales Operations to drive aligned plans, assumptions, and performance priorities.

  • Lead recurring stakeholder forums (e.g., insight readouts, forecast reviews, quarterly business reviews) to surface risks, drive decisions, and track follow-through on actions.

  • Partner with Global Integrated Insights, Advanced Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Pipeline/Valuation, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistency of methodologies, reuse of learnings, and clear translation of global strategy into Europe market implications.

Tools, Data & Enablement:

  • Partner to drive adoption and continuous improvement of the Europe insights ecosystem (market research partners, data sources, planning/forecasting tools, and BI dashboards); define requirements for data quality, governance, and scalable insight delivery.

  • Collaborate to delivery playbooks, training, and self-service standards to scale best practices in market research, forecasting, and analytics across Europe markets and brand teams.

Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Provide clear, concise executive readouts that translate insights, forecasts, and performance drivers into implications, options, and decisions for Europe and global leadership.

  • Manage key stakeholder relationships and vendor/partner engagements related to market research, forecasting, and analytics; ensure efficient spend, strong quality controls, and timely delivery.

Team Development and Organizational Impact:

  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, customer-centric culture focused on impact and continuous improvement.

  • Define and track KPI frameworks for Europe commercial performance, forecast accuracy/bias, and insights service levels (timeliness, quality, adoption); drive measurable improvements in decision quality and business outcomes.

Experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in integrated insights (market research, forecasting, and/or commercial analytics) within biotech/pharma; Europe regional experience essential.

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience and demonstrated ability to influence without authority, including leading multi-disciplinary teams and influencing senior stakeholders in a matrixed, multi-country environment.

  • Strong command of primary research methods, forecasting approaches (drivers-based and scenario planning), and analytics/KPI measurement; proficiency with Excel and common BI/analytics and planning tools.

  • Demonstrated success partnering across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Medical, Market Access, and field leadership to drive decisions, improve performance, and accelerate execution.

  • Experience implementing scalable processes, vendor models, and analytics automation to improve insight quality, cycle time, and stakeholder adoption.

  • All years of work experience may be gained concurrently. 

Additional skills:

  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources and measurement approaches (e.g., claims, specialty pharmacy, distributor, payer, longitudinal patient-level data), with awareness of EU data privacy requirements.

  • Expertise designing and applying research and advanced analytics to commercial questions (segmentation, targeting, positioning, messaging, journey, omnichannel effectiveness) and translating findings into decisions, including guiding & informing data science/ AI/ML approaches.

  • Strong blend of technical proficiency, strategic thinking, and business acumen, with a track record of influencing senior leaders and driving measurable outcomes.

  • Collaborative and influential leadership style, with the ability to navigate complexity across countries and cultures and build strong partnerships across the organization.

Salary Range Switzerland: 241,900.00 CHF - 302,400.00 CHF
