Job Description Summary:
Our vision is loved brands, done sustainably, for a better shared future. The Senior Director of Drug & Grocery Discounter Channels is responsible for driving long term, sustainable growth across complex and highly volatile retail channels.
This role provides strategic leadership for a diverse portfolio of Drug and Grocery Discount customers while influencing enterprise-wide decisions through close collaboration with the bottling system and NAOU senior leadership.
This role leads a high performing team of customer leaders, ensuring best in class execution, customer partnerships, and go-to-market strategies aligned with company objectives. We’re looking for a situational leader with a passion for sales and a proven track record of growing revenue in a fast-paced sales environment.
What You’ll Do for Us
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of leaders operating in a fast paced, highly competitive, and frequently changing channels of business to enable a high performing organization.
Translate enterprise strategy into actionable channel specific and customer plans that deliver profitable growth.
Be the strategic lead and voice of the Drug & Grocery Discounter Channels of business internally to ensure that our plans are aligned to the shopper and within an arm’s reach of desire on shelf or online.
Formulate both short- and long-term plans to maximize partnership potential, while thoroughly understanding each customer's unique business requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
Navigate differing customer strategies, operational models, and value propositions while balancing enterprise priorities to be the most valued supplier partner.
Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess relationships, reinforce strategies, and demonstrate value created by The Coca-Cola Company to maximize and grow customer value.
Leverage cross-functional teams and bottling network, to create and execute business plans that meet customer needs and drive overall business growth.
Anticipate risks and opportunities within these diverse channels of business while proactively mobilizing resources as needed to drive performance modeling best-in-class partnership
What You'll Need
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
7-10+ years of Strategic Sales Experience, commercial, and/or general management experience in CPG or related industries.
Experience in a matrixed or product operating model organization is preferred.
Establish and sustain executive-level customer relationships based on trust, transparency, and shared value creation.
Strong emotional intelligence and adaptable leadership to build credibility and strengthen strategic partnerships.
Applies a situational leadership approach, adapting management style to meet individual, team, and business needs.
Must demonstrate robust organizational, planning, and executional discipline in conducting regular business reviews with customers and the bottling system, thereby fostering stronger business relationships and improving performance.
