As Senior Director of Global Merchandise Planning & Insights, you will serve as a strategic architect of Levi's global product and investment strategy. Leading a high-performing team, you will translate brand vision into dynamic financial frameworks that drive profitable growth across DTC and Wholesale channels. This position is instrumental in leveraging sales and gross margin data to align assortment planning, manage inventory priorities globally, and support data-driven decisions ensuring agility, consumer focus, and financial stability.
Reporting to the VP of Center Planning and Operations, you will set the vision for global merchandise planning excellence, championing innovation, operational rigor, and cross-functional alignment.
Strategic Leadership
Oversee the financial models and forecast to support long-range planning and seasonal investment frameworks that fuel brand growth and deliver financial targets.
Integrate in-season insights into pre-season development to build adaptive, forward-looking investment strategies.
Act as a strategic thought partner with cross functional collaboration with to Merchandising, Finance, and Cluster Planning, influencing global direction through data and insight.
Transformational Team Leadership
Inspire, develop, and empower a diverse team of Directors, Sr. Managers, and Managers, cultivating a culture of curiosity, accountability, and excellence.
Establish clear goals, provide strategic coaching, and foster career growth across all levels.
Champion inclusive leadership practices and build a team culture rooted in equity, transparency, and performance.
Planning Innovation & Excellence
Lead the global Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) process, ensuring strategic alignment across clusters and markets.
Drive post-season and in-season analytics to uncover risks, surface opportunities, and inform future planning cycles.
Advance capabilities through continuous improvement of tools, systems, and processes that enhance agility and precision
Financial Stewardship
Ensure delivery of financial goals across revenue, margin, and productivity metrics, balancing strategic ambition with inventory operational discipline
Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence
Collaborate with Global Merchandising, Product Development, Cluster Planning, and Finance to align on assortment, investment, and inventory strategies.
Influence executive decision-making through compelling, insight-rich storytelling and strategic recommendations.
Drive cohesive execution across global and cluster teams, resolving trade-offs and enabling alignment.
Executive Engagement & Communication
Lead planning discussions in MBRs, QBRs, and seasonal milestones, presenting strategies and performance insights to senior leadership.
Craft narratives that translate complex data into actionable strategies, enabling informed, enterprise-level decisions.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $235,000 - $267,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
