The Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis Build will lead the set up of Central Finance business partnering team. The organization you set up will strengthen Takeda’s financial stability and provide clear, high-quality insights that support executive decision-making and long-term planning. You will partner closely with executive leadership and finance person building strong Central FP&A organization. This role requires 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance and successful track record of building high performing global teams.
Responsibilities:
• Build a global FP&A team, which partners strongly with Finance and Business stakeholders to maximize enterprise value.
• The future global FP&A team is accountable for consolidation of previously decentralized activities with emphasis on process harmonization, efficiency and added value.
• Form, train and transition high performing team, with focus on continuous capability building and adoption of new digital technologies.
• Assess the current ways of working and make sound decisions on future operating model and the way to transition activities
• Act as a Steward of Takeda’s assets, ensuring a compliant business framework is in place with the required controls.
• Develop advanced financial models and use business intelligence tools to support meaningful and long term decision-making.
• Act as a strategic partner, challenging executive leadership, with a focus on optimal resource allocation and efficiency through financial discipline.
• As a Digital Leader, drive adoption of Artificial Intelligence to improve FP&A activities, combining deep knowledge of the processes with new possibilities brought by technology.
Skills and qualifications:
• Successful track record of building high performing global teams.
• 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or corporate finance
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Strong experience partnering with executive leadership and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Strong executive presence and clear, confident communication skills
• Strong understanding of financial controls, financial operations, and cross-functional finance processes
• Experience improving processes and leading change within a global organization
