Job Description Summary

The Senior Director of Finance Transformation will serve as a key leader responsible for strengthening and governing global Finance processes, with a primary focus on Finance data governance, master data integrity, and process quality across the global Finance ecosystem. This role ensures consistency, accuracy, and compliance across enterprise-wide financial data and process standards, while supporting global transformation initiatives led by the executive leadership.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Governance & Data Quality Leadership

- Own and enhance the global Finance governance framework, including standards, controls, and process oversight mechanisms.

- Lead governance routines that ensure consistency of global Finance processes and alignment with policy, regulatory, and SOX requirements.

- Oversee the Financial Data Management (FDM) framework, including master data management, chart of accounts integrity, hierarchy governance, and data quality remediation.

- Partner with Controllership and Process Owners to ensure financial data accuracy and end‑to‑end process alignment across functions.

- Establish and maintain data quality KPIs, monitoring programs, and issue‑resolution mechanisms.

- Ensure governance structures support global standardization while allowing appropriate regional variations.

2. Global Process Transformation & Optimization

- Lead redesign and continuous improvement of global Finance processes (RTR, OTC, P2P), emphasizing data accuracy, process quality, and operational efficiency.

- Identify areas of process friction and drive initiatives that reduce manual work, eliminate defects, and enhance automation.

- Maintain deep understanding of global process interdependencies and ensure cross‑functional alignment.

- Partner with the executive leadership to execute transformation roadmaps.

3. Technology & Systems Enablement (Workday Financials Focus)

- Serve as a primary Finance partner to Workday Financials teams, supporting enhancement, optimization, and governance of Workday Finance processes.

- Collaborate with Technology and Financial Systems leaders to ensure systems design supports data quality, controls, and standardized processes.

- Identify opportunities to embed automation, AI, and workflow improvements, focusing on data stewardship.

- Coordinate with the Senior Director of Finance Systems on FP&A, OneStream, and Consolidation systems to maintain ownership boundaries.

4. Program & Project Leadership

- Lead cross‑functional programs related to process governance, data quality, system optimization, and global standardization.

- Manage a portfolio of Finance initiatives, including data governance, e‑invoicing, analytics modernization, and process standardization.

- Co‑lead Foundational Data Model Modernization effort to improve data quality, fix defects, and enhance core Finance processes.

- Deliver clear executive‑level reporting on program progress, risks, and value realization.

- Drive structured risk mitigation and decision‑making routines.

- Lead the global e‑invoicing program, ensuring compliance, adoption, integration with Finance processes, and alignment to Finance Transformation goals.

5. Team Leadership & Development

- Build and mentor a high‑performing team of governance, process, and data quality professionals.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data stewardship, operational excellence, and accountability.

- Provide coaching to Finance and regional partners.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field required.

- MBA, CPA, or other advanced credentials strongly preferred.

- 12+ years of experience in Finance, Transformation, Governance, or Financial Systems.

- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, global transformation and governance initiatives.

Technical & Professional Skills

- Strong understanding of global Finance processes and best practices (RTR, OTC, P2P).

- Expertise in Finance governance, data management, and data quality frameworks.

- Experience with Workday Financials or similar ERP systems.

- Strong financial acumen.

- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 157,250.00 - $185,000.00
