This role is dedicated to accelerating value creation by enabling data-driven innovation and strengthening the financial rigor behind experimentation, prototyping, and the scaled deployment of new solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the financial architect for innovation and digital programs, using benchmarking, business cases, and scenario modeling to guide prioritization and expected outcomes.
  • Lead financial evaluation of innovation pipelines—from early-stage concepts to large-scale innovation projects—ensuring disciplined assessment of feasibility, risk, and long-term enterprise impact.
  • Partner with product, digital, and technology teams to translate performance metrics, pilot outcomes, customer insights, and operational data into actionable recommendations.
  • Drive automation of financial processes and innovation performance dashboards to improve speed, accuracy, and transparency across the enterprise.
  • Lead annual and quarterly strategic planning for innovation, stress-testing proposals against value, feasibility, and alignment to enterprise priorities.
  • Act as the chief financial storyteller for innovation—distilling complex data into clear, actionable insights that guide senior leadership on experimentation and scaling decisions.
  • Advise leaders on balancing efforts between short-term operational efficiency initiatives and longer-term transformational innovation, grounded in measurable business outcomes.
  • Champion adoption of modern digital tools, advanced analytics, and emerging financial methodologies that improve decision quality, agility, and speed of innovation cycles.
  • Deliver real-time reporting and insights on innovation program performance, digital capability maturity, and in-flight experiment results.
  • Establish strong data governance across innovation finance, ensuring consistent, reliable, and automated data flows for performance tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced credentials in analytics, strategy, or digital transformation strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally with exposure to innovation, digital transformation, product development, or technology-driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial support of innovation portfolios, digital tools, or technology capabilities (AI, automation, data platforms, digital products, etc.).
  • Deep understanding of valuation techniques for innovation initiatives—including scenario modeling, portfolio management, and experimental performance measurement.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills; proven ability to simplify complex innovation insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Advanced proficiency with financial modeling, BI tools, and modern analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, digital dashboards, AI-assisted analytics).
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams across technology, product, operations, and strategy.
  • Agile, forward-thinking problem-solver with the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
