Role Purpose

The Senior Director will serve as the finance and strategic partner of the VP, System Marketing Stewardship & Execution. This role provides high-impact financial leadership across the market execution agenda with bottlers, customers, and the Operating Unit—ensuring the marketing agenda is executed with discipline, aligned investment, and system-wide value creation.

The role strengthens decision-making by embedding financial rigor into system alignment, marketing program execution, and the identification of scalable growth opportunities across markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial evaluation of market opportunities and gaps relative to system plans, quantifying value creation potential and informing corrective action. Including the C&U investments portfolio. 
  • Drive financial alignment across Frontline marketing programs, working closely with Retail Sales, Franchise, and Customer organizations.
  • Serve as the senior finance voice, ensuring systemwide clarity on investment market priorities and expected business outcomes.
  • Co-lead financial input into Operating Unit and market-level portfolio strategy, brand planning, execution calendars, and innovation pathways.
  • Evaluate financial feasibility and expected returns for Frontline investments, including C&U.
  • Assess and optimize Frontline DME productivity, ensuring marketing dollars deliver measurable system value.
  • Ensure that bottler and customer execution of marketing programs is financially sound, risk-mitigated, and value-accretive.
  • Shape and scale segmented execution models by embedding financial logic into differentiated approaches across markets and customer groups.
  • Elevate complex system economics, execution data, market performance, and marketing effectiveness into actionable financial insights for senior leadership, bottlers, and customers.
  • Lead governance of financial processes related to Frontline marketing investments, ensuring consistency and reliability across bottler data.
  • Engage and influence OU LT, Retail Sales, and Franchise teams through fact-based financial guidance.
  • Serve as a senior financial advisor in high-pressure negotiations, strategic reviews, and execution discussions—operating calmly and analytically.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience in large, complex organizations; experience in consumer goods or beverages preferred.
  • Demonstrated financial experience supporting marketing, commercial, system, or franchise functions.
  • Advanced capabilities in financial modeling, forecasting, investment evaluation, and value analysis.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and influencing skills; proven ability to engage senior leaders internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and pressure, using fact-based insights to guide executive decision-making.

Experience & Background

  • Franchise leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Significant financial management experience with a track record of shaping decisions and driving alignment across cross-functional and external partners.
  • Exposure to marketing investment, brand economics, innovation finance, or commercial execution is beneficial.

Pay Range:

$180,000 - $203,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
