Job Description Summary:
The Senior Director, Customer Marketing East Region is a marketing leader responsible for leading the Area Customer Marketing team and delivering customer-centric marketing strategies that drive growth across the East Region. This role serves as a critical connector between customers, sales, marketing, and the broader Coca-Cola system—translating strategy into impactful, customer-specific marketing execution and scalable programs.
As a member of the East Region leadership team, this leader partners closely with sales and cross functional teams to strengthen customer relationships, elevate execution, and ensure marketing investments deliver measurable business results.
What You’ll Do for Us
Customer Marketing Leadership & Strategy
• Lead team to deliver customer marketing strategy and execution with East Region customers, ensuring alignment with regional and national priorities.
• Translate regional marketing vision into customer-specific plans that drive brand growth, customer relevance, and commercial impact.
• Serve as a senior marketing leader for key customers, supporting joint business planning and customer-facing marketing discussions.
Customer Engagement & Account Support
• Partner with sales and commercial leaders to influence customer strategies through insights-driven marketing solutions.
• Support senior-level customer engagements by shaping marketing narratives, recommendations, and investment approaches.
• Help optimize marketing spend and programming to improve ROI, customer satisfaction, and executional excellence.
People Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, coach, and develop the Area Customer Marketing team (6 direct reports), fostering strong performance, collaboration, and engagement.
• Build marketing capabilities across the team, including digital fluency, customer experience, and omnichannel execution.
• Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Marketing Execution & Innovation
• Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing programs across channels, including digital, in-store, and experiential platforms.
• Champion test-and-learn approaches, leveraging data and insights to refine programs and improve effectiveness and ability to scale across customers.
• Ensure consistent brand standards and high-quality execution across customer marketing initiatives.
System Collaboration & Influence
• Collaborate closely with the customer marketing community and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and scalability of initiatives.
• Act as a key liaison between regional strategy and local execution, elevating best practices across the system.
• Represent Customer Marketing in internal forums and select customer engagements as needed.
Qualifications
• College Degree and 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with customer or commercial marketing leadership.
• Strong experience partnering with sales teams and influencing customer outcomes through marketing.
• Solid understanding of brand strategy, digital marketing, and omnichannel execution.
• People leader with experience developing and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
