Summary:

The Senior Director, 340B Business Optimization & Analytics Lead manages a team executing day-to-day operations of the 340B Center of Excellence (COE) including program integrity activities, covered entity eligibility processing, and development of supporting analytics and reporting. This position also develops standards and expectations for teams outside of the 340B COE (e.g., claims processing) ensuring teams are properly trained and execute 340B-related activities in a consistent, timely, and compliant manner.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team responsible for daily operations across key 340B COE workstreams, ensuring efficient, consistent, and compliant execution, in alignment with the organization’s 340B strategy and enterprise policies and procedures

  • Develop and maintain 340B-related processes, standards, SLAs, and training for internal COE operations and for business functions conducting 340B-related activities outside the COE

  • Oversee program integrity activities, including Good Faith Inquiries (GFIs), audits, and diversion activity identification in coordination Legal and external partners to ensure consistent issue identification, escalation, and resolution

  • Oversee covered entity (CE) eligibility requests, reviews, and approvals related to 340B Program Eligibility Membership

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise 340B reporting, including financial impact and exposure analysis

  • Manage enterprise 340B data and reporting environment, ensuring accuracy and readiness to support program integrity efforts and leadership reporting

  • Lead development of innovative analytic methodologies and tools (including AI-powered solutions) in collaboration with US Pricing, Finance, Trade, BI&T, and external vendors to manage 340B-related data aggregation and validation using internal and external platforms and data sources

  • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to the Director, 340B Strategy & Innovation and Executive Director, 340B COE Lead to guide priorities and decision-making 

  • Update operational processes in collaboration with the Director, 340B Strategy & Innovation, US Policy, and Legal teams to maintain ongoing compliance with Federal and State 340B regulations and ensure operational alignment with the organization’s 340B strategy

  • Select, evaluate, and manage vendors and third-party contracts, including those supporting GFIs, audits, and data analytics, ensuring adherence to service-level expectations

  • Drive continuous process improvement and operational compliance tracking, ensuring timely resolution of issues and enhancing efficiency across 340B operations

  • Serve as the escalation point for internal and vendor performance and compliance issues, ensuring risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated through structured processes

  • Serve as a key point of collaboration with product/TA pricing, access, and brand leads to educate them on 340B and advise on operational strategy and business implications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or MHA) preferred

  • 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, government pricing, or compliance management

  • Strong knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program, including manufacturer requirements, chargebacks, and covered entity relationships

  • Experience managing and transforming 340B-related data (e.g., claims, chargebacks, rebates)

  • Demonstrated success leading operations, process improvement, and analytics development in a matrixed organization

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills with proven ability to translate complex data into insights that drive business and policy decisions

  • Prior experience leading 340B or government pricing operations and analytics within a major biopharmaceutical organization is preferred

  • Familiarity working with and managing AI-powered data analytics tools and solutions is a plus

Compensation Overview:

Princeton - NJ - US: $212,050 - $256,954 Washington DC - US: $212,050 - $256,954

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
