We are looking for a Senior Digitization Engineer to help accelerate our Manufacturing 4.0 journey. This is an opportunity to shape the future of our digital manufacturing landscape, influence global operations, and bring innovative technologies to life in a world class medical technology business.
What will you be doing?
- Leading strategic digital manufacturing initiatives that advance Manufacturing 4.0 across global sites
- Translating user needs and business requirements into system architectures and technical specifications
- Collaborating with Operations, Manufacturing IT, Operational Excellence, and Data Analytics to deliver scalable digital solutions
- Identifying and implementing technologies for automated data collection, IIoT connectivity, and advanced data visualization
- Providing advanced technical support and lifecycle ownership of global OT applications
- Supporting manufacturing sites with local digital manufacturing initiatives
- Providing Design for Automation input to New Product Development teams
- Driving continuous improvement to enhance safety, quality, cost, and manufacturing performance
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality system requirements
What will you need to be successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in global cross functional technical environments
- Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and performance metrics
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with partners
- Strong communication skills including written verbal and presentation capabilities
