Senior Digital Design Engineer

The Data Center and Energy team at Analog Devices is seeking a SENIOR DIGITAL IC DESIGN ENGINEER. The successful candidate will join a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, working with a global team of innovators to develop new industry-leading IC products for the high-growth data center and energy markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead block-level digital design and verification activities
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines in defining specifications, developing architectures, executing design and supporting post-silicon
  • Develop optimized digital solutions with consideration of performance, area, power and schedule
  • Assist with timing constraints and timing closure
  • Participate in customer engagements, in support of technical feasibility and proposals
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in electronics engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience
  • Digital design experience across multiple blocks or products
  • Digital design expertise including Verilog / SystemVerilog RTL, clock domain crossings and timing constraints
  • Use of linting tools
  • Understanding and experience of digital verification approaches and tools
  • Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
  • Strong team worker within multi-discipline, multi-cultural and multi-site environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience integrating digital blocks with analog/mixed signal designs
  • Proficiency with Cadence tool suite
  • Scripting languages (Shell, TCL, PERL, Python)
  • Analog behavioral models and mixed-signal verification methodology
  • UVM verification
  • Constrained-random verification, functional coverage and assertions
