Senior Digital Agile Enablement Manager

We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate to play a critical role in transforming and sustaining an environment of continuous improvement and self-organized high performing teams. The Senior Digital Enablement Manager is a discipline expert in Agile Practices and will be responsible for working with Labs, stakeholders, leaders and managers to improve performance and outcomes. The SDEM will provide coaching, training, mentoring, impediment management, and leadership to facilitate collaboration, development consistency, and value delivery across multiple team working on a multitude of journeys and projects.

YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME

Reporting to the Director Digital Agile Enablement & Scrum Masters, you will be empowered to:

  • Stand up new labs and provide coaching and consulting to support their development and ongoing improvement.  
  • Train and coach agile lab team members in adopting Agile practices and tools for the implementation of Agile at OLG, including: 
  • Role Clarity, responsibilities and delivery expectations 
  • Agile (e.g., Scrum) processes and ceremonies 
  • Challenge of old norms in both business and IT processes for continuous improvement of OKRs, tools and processes 
  • Promotion of DevOps technical practices 
  • Interactions with business units and supporting areas of OLG 
  • Provide 1:1 training and coaching to Product Owners, Scrum Masters, BA’s and other agile team members to build required agile capabilities and support or remediate challenges as the teams interact with other parts of OLG, across the various levels of the organization 
  • Proactively analyze and make recommendations for improvements to existing agile organizational practices and patterns at the team, cross team, and portfolio levels 
  • Develop and update orientation and training content to support implementation of agile 
  • Maintain best practices, tools, templates and other content to support agile implementation and communities of practice 
  • Share best practices and insights for across the organization to remove impediments to the implementation of Agile

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME

Education & Experience:

  • ​Discipline expert in Scrum and Kanban, including scaling these practices, with formal Agile methodology training. Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Professional, PMI-ACP) preferred.
  • ​5-7 years of hands-on delivery experience with previous accountability for delivery outcomes using Agile practices 
  • ​3-5 years experience in providing agile coaching; coaching of agile for large organizations undergoing transformation from waterfall preferred 

Relevant Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with experience in delivering programs, training, workshops that influence 
  • ​Passionate problem solver and negotiator who succeeds in ambiguous situations
