The Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer with a record of building cloud-based infrastructure solutions and software development experience. You’ll join our efforts to evolve our system to become faster, more secure, and more reliable.
What you will do
- Play a key role in enhancing our infrastructure's reliability, security, and efficiency, contributing to the overall success of our development and operational efforts.
- Operate multiple environments and multi-account cloud-based systems and.
- Manage multiple K8S clusters across various accounts and environments.
- Join a highly skilled team of DevOps engineers that operates a highly available production system.
- Design, develop, and deploy new and existing platform solutions.
- Help improve CI/CD processes and the overall SDLC.
- Collaborate with various professional development teams.
- Learn, grow, and acquire new skills and technologies.
- Work with various cloud providers and third-party providers to set up highly available and fault-tolerant applications and services.
Who we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience with operating cloud infrastructure.
- Cloud infrastructure expertise: Proficient in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Docker, with a solid understanding of how to design and operate scalable, reliable, and secure environments
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Skilled in tools like Terraform, Pulumi, env0, Spacelift, or Opentofu, with a passion for automating infrastructure and maintaining it as code.
- CI/CD systems: Experienced with ArgoCD, Helm, Jenkins, and other delivery pipelines that ensure smooth, repeatable deployments.
- Experience with Linux systems, containerization (Docker), and scripting (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Solid networking knowledge, including routing, DNS, load balancing and security practices.
- Proficiency in monitoring highly available, production-grade systems, including experience with tools like Prometheus, Datadog, Coralogix, OpenTelemetry or others.
- Comfortable with compliance-driven operations (SOC-2, HIPAA, etc).
- Familiarity with databases and query languages.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills (Yes, you will be working with people!).
The ideal candidate will come from a tier-one technical startup with a history of high growth and scale. They will have a strong enterprise software go-to-market background with a highly technical foundation.
