About the Team
Onboarding, Enablement, and Governance designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs internal tooling that ensures development teams able to deliver software and infrastructure in a resilient, safe, and repeatable manner. Our tools also ensure compliance with Workday standards and audit responsiblities.About the Role
We have immediate openings for engineers in our Onboarding, Enablement and Governance group to design and develop our next generation of internal and developer tools. Our team is where tooling, development and deployment merge! This is a unique opportunity to build a toolset from design to deployment with technical ownership of all stages. This role will require competency in Kuberenetes and related deployment technologies, such as, Helm, Flux and ArgoCD.
Engineers on this team will assist customers with onboarding to our toolchain, creating build pipelines and the automation of deployment using custom tooling an industry standard technologies. Our team works with Product managers and customers to identify use cases and prioritize implementation. Your daily activities will be to design, estimate and implement features in cooperation with the other members of the team. We are a scrum based agile team working in two week sprints. The ability to work and communicate quickly are valued by the team. Interest in taking on a leadership posture on cross-team projects is appreciated and a key part of our directive.
About You
Proven ability in developing server-side applications.
Competency in DevOps, Public Cloud, Kuberenetes and related deployment technologies, such as, Helm, Flux and ArgoCD.
2+ years experience with Go, Ruby, Python, or similar languages.
Understanding of supply chain security and SLSA
A strong focus on good architecture and conceptualizing new architectures and frameworks.
Proficiency in major development tools and processes (e.g., source control, testing).
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience or higher, preferably in Computer Science/Engineering.
