Senior Designer

About the role:

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Designer to design and develop compelling visual assets for our Marketing team. This Designer will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be responsible for the application of Garner’s brand identity across assets, ensuring a consistent brand experience and compelling call to action for our clients, partners, and other external stakeholders. This role will work cross-functionally across the Marketing, Sales, Account Management, and Product teams to deliver slide decks, one-pagers, handouts, website content, and a variety of other digital and print assets. This role is ideal for candidates with versatile design skills looking for a high impact cross-functional role.

Where you will work:

This role will be based in our New York City office. You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

What you will do:

• Design compelling visual assets, such as sales collateral, insights reports, event handouts, website content, etc.
• Consistently apply Garner’s brand identity to visual assets, including logo, typeface, colors, and illustration style
• Set up processes to ensure consistent application of Garner’s brand identity and design style across the organization, including creating enablement resources such as self service design templates, guidelines, and creative assets
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand and ensure deliverables meet the needs of the business
• Continuously improve processes through the use of new design techniques and tools

The ideal candidate has:

• 6+ years of experience in graphic design, slide design, or a related visual content creation role
• Proven ability to communicate key messages through creative and visually compelling assets
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage high volume of inbound requests and prioritize time accordingly
• Knowledge and experience using software such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and Google Slides, as well as awareness of emerging AI tools the enhance the design process 
• A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback

Compensation Transparency:

The target salary range for this position is $130,000 - $185,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k) with company match, flexible spending accounts, Teladoc Health and more.
