We design across a broad set of workflows: including colleague messaging, inbox action items, and exam documentation, with an emphasis on reducing friction and supporting efficient task completion. Our work spans research, interaction design, information architecture, prototyping, and design partnership with product, engineering, content, and clinical stakeholders. We aim to create experiences that are practical, intuitive, and aligned to user needs, while thoughtfully using AI and voice technologies where they improve workflows and add value.

Essential Job Responsibilities

· Conduct user research in a variety of forms that will help answer open questions and de-risk our possible solutions

· Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into clear design directions and experience requirements.

· Create prototypes, journey flows, and supporting artifacts of varying levels of fidelity that communicate design intent clearly

· Design simple, effective, and elegant interactions across mobile app and web experiences for clinician workflows.

· Collaborate with product, engineering, research, content, and clinical partners to shape and refine solutions.

· Present thoughtful rationale for design recommendations and adapt proposals based on feedback and evidence.

· Participate in design reviews, usability validation, and iteration cycles to improve experience quality.

· Adapt to ambiguity, shifting priorities, and changing requirements while keeping work moving forward.

· Use AI tools thoughtfully in design workflows to accelerate exploration, synthesis, and iteration, while applying human judgment to evaluate outputs and determine what is appropriate for clinician-facing experiences.

Additional Job Responsibilities

· Support design operations and team practices that improve consistency and quality across projects.

· Contribute to design systems by identifying reusable patterns and opportunities for standardization.

· Document design decisions, assumptions, and open questions for cross-functional visibility.

· Join planning discussions to help shape priorities, scope, and sequencing.

· Partner with analytics teams to interpret findings and inform design decisions.

· Align product content and microcopy across workflows to support clarity and usability.

· Explore emerging interaction patterns and technologies that may improve clinician workflows.

· Coordinate with stakeholders across functions to maintain alignment through design execution.

Expected Education & Experience

· Experience collaborating with product management, engineering, and content partners in a cross-functional environment. Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams preferred but not required.

· Experience using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or comparable tools. Experience using AI-forward tools such as Figma Make and LLM-backed IDEs (Windsurf, Codex, Claude Code, etc.) preferred but not required.

· Experience applying user-centered design methods, including problem framing, iterative design, and usability feedback.
