Position Summary
Join our Demand Forecasting Centre of Excellence and play a key role in driving AI‑enabled baseline forecasting excellence. This role partners with Demand Forecasting Managers, Demand Planners, and Analytics teams to ensure accurate, timely, and stable baseline forecast outputs, while strengthening governance, continuous improvement, and alignment between AI‑driven and commercial forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Demand Forecasting Managers (DFMs) to assign, validate, and optimize AI forecasting models within the planning system.
Ensure timely completion of AI forecasts in alignment with the global planning calendar.
Monitor and evaluate AI forecast outputs and model performance to improve accuracy, consistency, and stability.
Partner with Demand Planners to review and validate master data, ensuring sustained forecastability across SKUs and markets.
Track and analyze baseline forecast KPIs and variance reports to identify gaps and define corrective actions.
Lead monthly baseline and exception review forums with DFMs to assess AI outputs and integrate feedback.
Review baseline forecast templates with DFM/Demand Planner, highlighting anomalies and key deviations.
Mentor and coach Demand Planners, in collaboration with the CoE, to strengthen analytical, technical, and forecasting capabilities.
Proactively identify, escalate, and drive resolution of technical or process‑related issues affecting forecast quality.
Partner with Analytics and cross‑functional teams to enhance forecasting tools, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting alignment between AI and commercial forecasts.
Education & Experience
Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, with demonstrable experience in demand planning and supply planning.
Practical experience with demand planning tools (e.g., SAP APO/IBP, OMP) or similar systems.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business, statistics, or related field.
Strong numerical and analytical skills; advanced Excel capability.
Clear, proactive communicator able to work with commercial, supply, and finance stakeholders
Hands-on experience with AI/statistical forecasting model tuning and monitoring.
Prior exposure to S&OP processes, variance analysis frameworks and forecasting KPI governance.
Experience mentoring teams and running review forums.
Experience working in pharma or fast-moving consumer goods environments.
Working Arrangement
This is a primarily on-site role, with the possibility of hybrid working depending on team needs.
