Role Summary :
RedRaven is Flowserve’s complete end-to-end solution for the industrial space to monitor and optimize flow control equipment performance and proactively identify and address issues before they cause downtime and disruptions.
The IoT Data Analyst will work closely with backend engineers and domain experts to build scalable data pipelines, analytical models, and interactive UIs that enable insight, decision-making, and automation. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, and product—turning complex data and models into usable analytical metrices and customer-facing experiences.
Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python
- Develop and optimize data models, transformations, and feature pipelines
- Work with structured and unstructured data (SQL, time-series, logs, sensor data)
- Develop statistical or ML models for forecasting, anomaly detection, or optimization
- Perform exploratory data analysis and translate insights into product features
- Build data-driven user interfaces using Python-based frameworks such as Plotly and Flask
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across systems
- Conduct benchmarking and stress tests to ensure scalable and reliable integrations
- Manage code and work via Azure DevOps, Pipelines and Test cases
Requirements :
- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and application development
- Knowledge of Python based analytical libraries (like NumPy, SciPy etc.) and web frameworks (like Flask, Django etc.)
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or IoT solution development
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Experience / Skills :
- Experience with APIs, microservices, or backend integration
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, PTC ThingWorx, etc.) would be added advantages
