As our Cyber Fusion Center continues to mature, we are seeking a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst who brings deep analytical experience and a strong background in producing high-quality, business-relevant intelligence.

This role is critical to maintaining the clarity, consistency, and impact of our CTI products. The ideal candidate excels at technical writing and editing, understands intelligence in tradecraft, and can help elevate the team’s analytical rigor. You will play a central role in developing reporting standards, refining CTI workflows, and ensuring our deliverables meet the expectations of both technical and executive stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research into emerging threats, campaigns, malware families, and actor activity relevant to GEICO and the insurance sector.

  • Identify patterns, assess implications, and communicate trends through well-structured intelligence reporting.

  • Apply structured analytic techniques and recognized methodologies (MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain, Diamond Model) to strengthen assessments.

  • Leverage alerting, telemetry, and external intelligence sources to validate findings and provide early warning.

  • Incorporate data, metrics, and visualizations into CTI products to clearly convey risk, impact, and confidence.

  • Drive refinement and publishing of CTI deliverables, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across daily, weekly, quarterly, and strategic outputs.

  • Provide peer review, editing, and analytical feedback to other analysts to elevate writing quality and analytical rigor.

  • Strengthen templates, style guidelines, documentation, and reporting frameworks to maintain high product standards.

  • Translate complex threat information into concise, actionable insights tailored for executive, technical, and business stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline CTI production, enhance quality control, and mature the reporting program over time.

  • Partner with incident response, detection engineering, threat hunting, risk, and leadership teams to ensure CTI products support operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Align reporting with PIRs and support continuous improvement of CTI workflows.

  • Contribute to the development of tools, automation, and OSINT capabilities that enhance team effectiveness.

Qualifications Required

  • 5–10+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence, national security intelligence, or related analytical roles.

  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify meaningful trends, and communicate findings clearly.

  • Extensive experience producing, editing, and improving intelligence products for technical and executive audiences.

  • Strong experience in OSINT research, actor tracking, and threat analysis.

  • Familiarity with intelligence tradecraft and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Kill Chain, and the Diamond Model.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity concepts, network fundamentals, threat vectors, and basic threat-hunting techniques.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor peers on writing and analytical standards.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, or equivalent experience.


 

Annual Salary

$105,000.00 - $215,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
