Want to write copy for the brand that invented the blue jean? You will be part of a team of copywriters who live and breathe Levi's®. We write for seasonal campaigns, e-commerce, blogs, videos, store windows—everything down to the tags on the clothes. In this position, you'll create content that adheres to pre-established brand standards and work alongside Creative and Marketing team leads to strategize and execute marketing copy—which basically means, take a brief and run with it. The job is fast-paced, creative and a fantastic opportunity for the right person.
About this role:
Write and deliver all Levi's® marketing copy as briefed by business teams and supervised by the Global Copy Director
Embody the brand voice and understand how to deploy it across channels
Edit copy from teammates
Receive feedback graciously, trying your best to improve
Understand and promote the value proposition of our full product assortment
Work with Art Directors, Project Managers, Designers and partners in Marketing, Merchandising and SEO.
Present work to peers, partners and management in a compelling and professional manner. When appropriate, include research to support chosen strategies
About you:
8+ years of experience in advertising, copywriting, journalism, or similar field
Understanding of how to write concise, branded content for fashion retail, e-commerce, digital marketing and video—and the varying parameters each medium requires
Curiosity and energy. You also should a point of view and the ability to work on deadline.
Ability to interpret briefs, take direction and complete with little/no management
Spectacular written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and strong follow-through
Comfort collaborating in a large, matrixed cross-functional organization
Must be team-oriented, but also have the ability to work independently
Eagerness to test, learn and evolve
Compelling presentation experience
Conversance with the fashion universe
Fluency in Microsoft Office
Experience with project management and collaborative design tools, like AirTable and Figma
This is a hybrid work schedule based in our Polanco Office in Mexico City. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
