Position Overview

The Senior Coordinator, Technical Operations plays a key role in supporting and driving theatrical, home entertainment, television, and—principally—TVOD, AVOD, FAST, and broadcast digital servicing workflows.

This role provides advanced coordination, workflow oversight, and operational leadership across multiple release pipelines, ensuring assets, metadata, documentation, and deliverables are accurately managed and executed in line with global release schedules.

Acting as a central operational hub, the Senior Coordinator works with internal teams, vendors, post houses, and digital platform partners, proactively identifying issues, improving workflows, and supporting junior team members. This position is suited to a candidate with solid experience in film, television, post-production, or distribution who is ready to take on increased responsibility and own key operational processes.

Role and Responsibilities

Team & Operational Administration (Primary Focus)

  • Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Technical Operations team.

  • Independently raise, track, and reconcile purchase orders and invoices in SAP; support team P&L updates.

  • Deliver strong operational support across TVOD, AVOD, FAST, and Broadcast digital servicing (UK and International), managing workflows with autonomy.

  • Maintain and refine trackers, documentation, and title management systems, ensuring accuracy and visibility across the team.

  • Support and, after training, independently coordinate C&A and theatrical screenings.

  • Manage marketing-related servicing requests including clip creation, EPKs, screeners, and materials distribution.

  • Responsible for minute-taking and action tracking at weekly team meetings, ensuring follow‑through.

Digital & Platform Support

  • Oversee delivery tracking and servicing workflows for digital platform partners, escalating issues where needed.

  • Maintain and create metadata, artwork, IDs, and documentation repositories; ensure materials accuracy and compliance.

  • Research and verify localised materials including dubs, subtitles, artwork, and metadata across markets.

  • Review partner portals, compile status updates, and lead on partner servicing reports.

  • Manage servicing requests with the aim of handling key clients independently.

  • Provide advanced administrative support to partners including metadata distribution, artwork, stills, and assets.

  • Liaise with labs, post houses, and vendors, ensuring timely asset movement and resolving delivery queries proactively.

Asset Tracking & Deliverables Support

  • Monitor, log, and track all incoming and outgoing technical assets with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Assist with QAR pipelines, coordinating the distribution of approved assets.

  • Manage asset library retrievals and support improvements to asset management workflows.

Home Entertainment Support

  • Coordinate materials and support the creation of BOMs for home entertainment releases.

  • Support QC emulation discs, print materials, and delivery components.

  • After training, run and lead C&A–related projects independently.

BBFC & IFCO Submissions

  • Own the end-to-end process for BBFC and IFCO submissions for home entertainment and TVOD titles.

  • Track timelines, manage materials, coordinate approvals, and distribute certifications.

  • Maintain comprehensive ratings and compliance documentation.

Theatrical Screening Support

  • Provide operational support for theatrical screenings, previews, and events, ensuring materials and logistics are organised and delivered successfully.

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in media, post-production or distribution, as well as:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

  • Proven attention to detail and consistency in managing data and documentation.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders autonomously.

  • Intermediate experience in Excel, databases, and office productivity tools.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
