JOB SUMMARY

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Coordinator, Midscale Brand Management. This role supports the Sleep Inn, Clarion, and Clarion Pointe brands by contributing to long-term brand vision and strategy. The Senior Coordinator partners across the organization to develop strategies that drive unit growth, same-store sales, franchisee profitability, and guest performance. This position is ideal for an ambitious professional eager to gain hands-on experience in brand positioning, strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration. #LI-Onsite

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project & Program Ownership (40%)

  • Create and manage project plans with key milestones and measurable results.

  • Monitor progress, identify gaps, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

  • Build relationships across multiple levels of the organization to accomplish objectives.

  • Manage budgets for owner meetings/events and Choice Hotels’ annual Convention.

Strategic Brand Champion (30%)

  • Oversee brand strategies, content, and standards, ensuring alignment and execution across functions.

  • Represent Choice and Midscale brands at industry events and media outlets to raise visibility.

  • Act as a strategic “Brand Champion” to franchisees during events and development discussions.

  • Collaborate with peers in other segments to ensure efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Development & Implementation of Brand Management (30%)

  • Contribute to competitive franchisee, consumer, and developer value propositions.

  • Serve as a cross-functional connector, integrating insights and business needs.

  • Support creation of data-driven reports for Owners, Franchisees, and Executive Leadership.

  • Monitor and adjust brands’ total cost of ownership to maintain compelling value propositions.

  • Assist leadership in developing executive-level business cases and strategic plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

Employment Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in brand strategy, corporate strategy, or project management; hospitality experience preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Strategic thinker with analytical and big-picture decision-making skills.

  • Creative problem solver with innovative approach.

  • Executive presence and strong communication skills for diverse audiences.

  • Organizational savvy and adaptability; experience with franchisees or external partners preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $74,168 -$87,147.

Field/Remote — Select roles designated as field/remote will require associates to work from a home office, connecting virtually with Choice team members and leadership on Zoom, with possible required travel depending on the role.
