Position Overview

The Consulting Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering consulting projects that meet client objectives and organisational standards. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic goals. It requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution:

    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and control tools using standard software.

    • Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Facilitate alignment meetings and business reviews with account teams and customers.

  • Risk & Issue Management:

    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

    • Resolve issues promptly to maintain project momentum.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead cross-functional teams, including internal and external resources, to achieve project objectives.

    • Foster collaboration and accountability across all stakeholders.

  • Financial Oversight:

    • Monitor budgets, forecast revenue, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Compliance & Quality:

    • Ensure adherence to internal methodologies, client requirements, and industry standards.

    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify improvement opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Certifications:

    • PMP, CAPM, or Certified ScrumMaster highly desirable.

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years managing consulting or complex projects across industries.

    • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Core Skills:

    • Strong leadership and communication skills.

    • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, PMBOK).

    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving under pressure
