Job Description

Senior consultant - FP&A

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of finance analytics consulting projects, including scope definition, data gathering and analysis, and presentation of findings to clients
• Develop and implement advanced financial modeling and analysis techniques to solve complex business problems
• Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and provide strategic guidance on how to improve their financial performance
• Mentor and manage a team of consultants, providing guidance on project delivery, technical expertise, and professional development
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in finance analytics, and identify opportunities to integrate new techniques and technologies into our consulting services
• Collaborate with other teams within the organization to develop and deliver integrated solutions that combine finance analytics with other disciplines (e.g. marketing, supply chain)
• Conduct assessments of clients' current processes and technologies in the Finance department to identify opportunities for digital transformation
• Develop strategies for implementing digital technologies in the Finance department, including identifying specific technologies and developing a roadmap for their implementation
• Support clients through the implementation process, including providing guidance on project management and addressing any challenges or obstacles
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure the success of the digital transformation project
• Stay up to date on the latest developments and trends in digital technologies and their potential applications in finance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering
• 7-10 years of experience in a finance analytics consulting role, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact projects to clients and with a strong understanding of digital technologies and their potential applications in finance
• Strong financial modeling skills and experience with advanced data analysis techniques (e.g. machine learning, Monte Carlo simulation)
• Experience consulting with clients on digital transformation projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for clients
• Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of consultants to deliver high-quality work
• Knowledge of project management principles and techniques

Good to Have Skillsets (Any one of the below will work):  

• Dashboarding experience (Any one PowerBI / Tableau / React / QlikView)
• Knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP / Oracle / Dynamic etc.)
• Automation Experience / OCR experience (UiPath / Blue prism etc.)
• Data Science (Modelling, ML, Statistical forecast etc.)
