As a Senior Connex Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing and modernising the systems that underpin the country’s payment ecosystem.

What you’ll be doing
In this hands‑on senior development role, you’ll:
-Implement new software features and maintain existing mission‑critical codebases
-Follow and improve development workflows, documentation and processes
-Perform peer and formal code reviews
-Develop and execute unit tests to ensure functionality and performance
-Take part in architectural discussions as part of the Connex architecture group
-Support solution design and contribute to pre‑sales technical discussions
-Report on progress, incidents and development efforts regularly
-Ensure alignment to Worldline’s SDLC and development framework.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who thrives in complex, high‑availability environments and brings deep, proven HP NonStop expertise.
You must have:
-Extensive Guardian administration experience
-Strong expertise in Guardian HPE NonStop design & development
-Proficiency with TAL, native TAL, COBOL, TACL and C
-Pathway knowledge (essential)
-Strong understanding of algorithms, libraries, SQL and TCP/IP
-Experience with intercept processing (e.g., DRnet, SecurDPS)
-Understanding of at least one HSM vendor i.e. Atalla
-Experience providing 2nd and 3rd level support
-Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder skills.
-Experience with high‑volume, high‑availability EFT or transaction processing systems
-Previous work in payments or financial switching environments.
