The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join the Finance and Enterprise Services team.

This strategic role will give the candidate exposure and experiences to some of the most important business strategies and decision makers within Boeing. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Boeing’s business, ability to work across teams within and outside of Communications and have a curiosity to learn the world of financial communications.

This position allows for the candidate to be located in one of the following: Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Chicago, IL; Everett, WA; Renton, WA, or Tukwila, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads quarterly earnings rhythm, including key message development, CEO scripts, employee communications and media engagements, in partnership with Investor Relations, CEO Communications and Media Relations

  • Supports quarterly Finance all-team meetings and other leadership meetings

  • Partners with key stakeholders on Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Proxy Statement and other key financial milestones and events

  • Ensures business unit communications strategies, messaging and media responses are in alignment with company’s financial messaging and positions

  • Helps support and coordinate with the Finance Leadership Team, including Enterprise Services

  • Supports Corporate Development activities, working across business units and functions

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in a role that required project management skills

  • 5+ years of experience in written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to craft engaging content for audiences

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience supporting communications for corporate financial activities

  • 3+ years of experience supporting senior leadership

  • 3+ years of experience supporting communications for aerospace or aviation

Summary pay range: $143,650 - $208,150
