In this role, you will:
- Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of moderately complex commercial client relationships by applying strong relationship management skills. Build a clear understanding of client needs and financial priorities, providing relevant insights and solutions to support client decision-making.
- Support the structuring, modification, and renewal of credit solutions, including cash flow lending, real estate financing, and other commercial banking products. Conduct financial analysis, assess client performance, and contribute to deal structuring in partnership with senior relationship managers and credit partners.
- Partner with internal product and functional teams to deliver appropriate commercial banking solutions aligned to client needs. Leverage knowledge of client business models and financial performance to support tailored recommendations.
- Contribute to the execution of business initiatives within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management team. Support efforts that enhance client experience, operational efficiency, and business growth.
- Build effective working relationships across teams to support deal execution, address client needs, and ensure alignment with risk and compliance standards. Escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- Support relationship planning and ongoing portfolio management, including maintaining pipeline activity, updating systems, and ensuring accurate documentation to support forecasting and reporting.
- Partner with business development teams to identify new opportunities within the market. Participate in client outreach and relationship-building efforts to support portfolio growth.
- Collaborate with product partners to stay informed on evolving solutions and market trends, contributing client insights to support product alignment and competitiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of core commercial banking solutions, including commercial lending structures, treasury management, and related financial services supporting commercial clients
- Completion of a formal credit training program with demonstrated proficiency in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and deal structuring
- Established professional network within the Fort Worth market and surrounding area
- Experience managing commercial client relationships within the $25MM–$100MM revenue segment, delivering thoughtful financial solutions aligned with client needs
- Proven ability to collaborate across internal teams, partnering effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a coordinated client experience
- Demonstrated success supporting new business development efforts, including identifying opportunities and contributing to the expansion of client relationships
- Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships, developing credibility with clients and colleagues
- Solid understanding of risk management practices, with the ability to identify, escalate, and mitigate risks in alignment with compliance and operational standards
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage clients and internal partners
