We’re looking for a Senior Manager, GWAM Information Risk Management to join our team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to provide independent second-line-of-defense (L2) oversight across information security, technology risk, privacy, and business resiliency for the Global Wealth and Asset Management (GWAM) segment. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-level risk decisions while ensuring alignment with global information risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Provide second-line information risk oversight across GWAM, ensuring alignment with global risk frameworks, policies, and standards
Perform independent review and effective challenge of technology risk assessments, controls, and remediation plans
Collaborate with business, IT, and risk teams to ensure proper design and execution of risk controls, including business continuity and disaster recovery
Review and challenge risk exceptions, incidents, and third-party/vendor risk assessments, ensuring appropriate risk treatment
Monitor and report on risk exposure, compliance, and emerging technology or regulatory risks
Support risk governance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and analytics
Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security, Technology Risk, or Business Resiliency within a large enterprise
Proven experience in second-line of defense (L2) oversight and risk management practices
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
Strong knowledge of global regulatory environments and information risk frameworks
Experience using risk reporting and analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI)
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC, FAIR, or MBCP
Experience in Wealth & Asset Management, Investments, or Financial Services
Background in risk advisory or consulting roles
Knowledge of AI, automation, or advanced analytics in risk management
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
