The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Operations team in Poland. This role is suited for an experienced engineer who is comfortable working in complex hybrid environments that combine public cloud and on-premise infrastructure. You will play a key role in designing, automating, and operating secure and scalable AWS-based platforms while supporting core enterprise infrastructure services.
Here's What You’ll Do
Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
Support and evolve hybrid cloud environments, including integration with on-premise datacenter systems.
Perform advanced operating system troubleshooting and root cause analysis across Linux and Windows platforms.
Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
Develop and maintain automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure platform reliability and visibility.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices across environments.
Ensure adherence to security standards, internal policies, and compliance requirements.
Participate in infrastructure modernization and datacenter improvement initiatives when required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Poland and globally to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering, with strong hands-on experience in AWS and enterprise environments..
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation; knowledge of AWS CDK and Ansible is an advantage.
Strong scripting and automation skills in at least one of the following: PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, server and storage systems, and core infrastructure protocols including DNS, NFS, and LDAP.
Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure.
Strong analytical and communication skills; able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in English (verbal and/or written) required due to global collaboration needs.
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
AWS certification such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
Experience with datacenter architecture and high-performance networking.
Familiarity with enterprise security standards and regulatory frameworks.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
