What Success Will Look Like:
- Design and develop metric and algorithms to draw insight from large data sets to identify new data-driven products and services.
- Understand the business context for the Conviva data well enough to be able to interpret it, clean it and transform it into a consumable format.
- Interpret analytical insight of statistical data with the appropriate business context and provide guidance to business decisions.
- Tracking cutting-edge algorithms/LLM/Agent, actively using new technologies, new algorithms, new ideas, and new concepts.
- Participate the development and optimization of data analytics systems.
Who You Are and What You've Done:
- BS or above in computer science, data science, mathematics or statistics and other related majors
- More than 5 years of work experience in data analytics or data scientist
- Statistic knowledge (e.g. Hypothesis testing, Probability distributions) is a must-have ability. Knowing how to design experiments and carry out A/B tests for different business use cases.
- Statistical modeling and machine learning skills especially on NLP are required. The candidate should have the ability to formalize a business problem into a machine learning problem, select the proper modeling algorithms and build out the models following the right process of training, testing, and validation.
- Be able to perform data manipulations, including aggregation, distribution, ordering, etc., with programing languages such as SQL, Scala, R or Python.
- Familiar with big data processing technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, etc..
- Good spoken English communication skills
- Strong interest and enthusiasm for technological innovation and problem-solving, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
